Do you keep a journal/diary?

Do you use prompts, or do you write whatever comes to mind?

I literally just started yesterday. My first thought was to print out prompts from random websites, but then I decided to use quotes instead (because I like quotes lol). I set my homepage to a quote site and try to write a full page about their quote of the day. smile.png

Keep a journal in my notes app documenting the dreams/nightmares I remember

but I haven’t been able to update it for awhile I can’t seem to remember much anymore and it’s frustrating bc I KNOW I had a dream but I can’t remember what it was

I started one when I was 7 (I wrote there on and off) and stopped when I was 11'5. Then I started one when I was 12 and also stopped writing on it... and this story repeats itself when I was 14 and 15 too... but it wasn't until August of 2017 that I took it seriously and I have 2 written journals already (plus the one I'm currently writing in). I don't do it as a daily thing but just when I feel like to, I don't obligate myself to do it because if I do so I'll lose interest.

edit: typos

Yes I have more than 10 journals and I write maybe 3-4 times a month.

I usually write whatever come to mind, but they usually revolve around a theme or topic. For example, time, commitment, fear, etc... It's a place for me to vomit my thought, reorganized, re-discovery and understand my thoughts.

I used to think this too, until I realized that a journal doesn't have to be about your life. You can literally write about anything you want. smile.png

Yeah that was I thinking too but then I realize i get old and cant walk ill be reading to the extent i might overjoyed myself and die lmaoo
