I'm I the only one who's curious af about what kind of music they'll comeback in Korea with? like, we got LVER which is super classy and feminine and a serious hard-hitting banger, and then there's O' My (quirky and cheerful) which was speculated to be their original debut song, and now we're finding out their Suki To Iwasetai sound (sincere and more classic) is a hit for the Japanese audience and probably won't be ignored by OTR when it comes to choosing the perfect comeback song

I'm at a point where I have no idea what they'll suprise us with next

Just because a song is cute and fun, doesnt mean it will be autonatically successful and do well digitally. It also needs to be a good song, and the group marketed well. You can have crap songs, and a company can also mis-market a group.

When a song on day 1 does pretty well digitally, but then drops a lot the 2nd day, it means the general public just dont like it. So Pledis can produce LVER2, but the same thing will happen as LVER1. If your a fan, wouldnt it be 100 times better that they release a song that is general public friendly instead of a LVER2?

a girlgroup debuted a couple days ago with a powerful girlcrush concept and a song that's definitely not public friendly and they're doing really well on the charts, what's your point? the concept doesn't matter as long as the promotion is good Edited by 金彩媛

I was a bit worried for the K-line prior to these handshake session, but judging by the reports from all the fans the girls did amazingly well the entire time. Could be that they wanted to show a good impression for the first time, but most interactions seemed either adorable, interesting, attentive and caring or a combination of of the three.

Even with the language barrier, all of them are being complimented for trying really hard. By word of mouth these good accounts could reel in a bigger audience next time.

Woolim would be stupid not to wait so they can add the two girls.

wouldn't it be smarter for woollim to debut Juri and the other trainees first to let them make a name for themselves as some kind of sub-unit with full promotions? kind of like NU'EST W, to then as soon as Chaewon and Eunbi's IZ*ONE contracts are over complete the group

I'm super scared about their korean comeback, I just know that they'll ditch the k-market for good if they underperform considering how much more successful they are in Japan right now

It's just me being paranoid but now with the next Produce season about to start I don't see IZ*ONE really bothering with korean promotions if they don't hit big there ezgif-1-6cb7cdc17314fc74eb9e44d2dce1.gif

Iz*one Chu was so funny even though I didn't understand a thing. I wish more of their dorm life would be shown in the later episodes.

I just looked at an article of the new produce group's contract term. Do you think it is possible for Iz*one to go the same way? Like after their 2.5 years they will announce that they will still stay as a group but with more flexibility in that members can promote with their own group. So in some songs we may only get some members when others are busy.

they could keep IZ*ONE alive by giving them a comeback every year and have like a designated month for promotions, all with the members already being part of their agencies' new groups or whatever activities they have planned for the girls

this is what a lot of wannables wanted for W1 post-disbandment but the higher ups just didn't try or care to pull it off

some of you are making it sound like Nako is being lowkey shady towards their agency for their activities, line distribution or whatever

and unless there's something I'm missing all I'm getting from her words is she's not yet truly confident in her skills or overall idol performance, and if that's the case then I wish she could see she's doing amazing :lovestruck:

It is good news that they did well in that reputation brand. But Iets not take this ranking so seriously and take as a reference cos this ranking also go by media buzz and groups like twice were not really promoting at the time. In reality, izone’s popularity hasn’t reach the level of twice yet.
