But why have Japanese members then if this is the basic gist of it? K groups have been fine promoting in Japan without J members for years already.

 

If you're gonna say "to be unique!"; then again, its moot. Because TWICE exists, and currently the most successful Korean GG in both Japan and South Korea.

P48 is unique in that it is a collaboration with the (already debuted and familiar to j-idol fans)48 groups specifically. It’s that simple really.

That fancam of Sakura reacting to Chaeyeon getting #12 is one of my favourite moments from the whole show. Such a pure display of emotion it was really heartwarming.

Yall, yall see this yet? a week ago when the K trainee went to Japan. the pic at the aiport it appear that Hyewon has 3 million won Gucci Sylvie Leather Mini Bag which was about 2,700 dollar, dayum  her parent must be quei rich than.

Having a designer bag is not necessarily indicative of wealth in east Asian culture. Families of all kinds of economic status will invest in a designer bag for their daughters. It's cute tho!

Sakura/Nako look like they've gotten kbeauty makeovers. Their hair & makeup are definitely different, they look great

Watching their Weekly Idol and Idol Room episodes, it’s amazing how they all seem to have their unique personas already and Yujin and Hyewon really stand out from a variety perspective. Yujin is just the ideal variety guest because she’s always reacting and giving the camera something, which is why it cuts to her so often. Also she’s naturally funny and so hyper.

 

And Hyewon’s “bad at literally everything†persona is turning out well for her because hosts have something to make fun of. Her dead face trying to act cute is so funny.

 

I actually thought Yena would stand out more considering how fun she is when it’s just her and the members.

I have the impression that she´s holding herself to not stand too much, even in parts like cover dance that she could do well she doesn't go to the front. Some Wusple haters called her too extra and fake in P48, maybe it´s a reason.

 

But this is gut feeling, she could just still feeling unconfortable in variety.

I think she’s uncomfortable but I don’t think it has anything to do with the online wusple haters tbh..

I've been thinking about how Yujin was someone I really didn't care about during p48 but lately she's been shooting right up my bias list so I was wondering do you guys have a member that's doing the same to you? Like someone you didn't pay attention to or even actively disliked and didn't want in the group but now you've kinda recognized their charms and are happy they made it?

 

Hyewon for me, I find her odd personality charming and I never noticed how beautiful she was on the show but wow, she really stands out as one of the group's top visuals.
