The name is tragic, but I got 8 faves in out of 12 and that's a good ratio, I'll definitely follow. Not sure I'll stan hardcore style though as I don't have a main bias (Jurina or Yunjin would have been that main bias), so now it'll also mostly depend on the variety and the music! Either way, I guess I'll stay for now!

Looking forward to rookie awards where we will have to fight everyone on OH ...Still I don't think it will be as bad as IOI vs BP where even Delphine had to fight hurrplz.png

I feel like we'll have to fight L2ona fans so far. Maybe JYPNGG fans if JYPE wakes the fuck up and debuts them, but then, don't count me in cause I'll be a JYPNGG fan too :'D

I don't understand how Lo1na fans think they can get ROTY? Surely (G)I-DLE is the frontrunner everywhere (except MAMA of course.)

They have a stronger fandom than GIDLE so far for sure (which helps a LOT in awards where voting matters), although GIDLE has the best critical success thus far.

Which also means that I won't be fighting not fights there cause I love GIDLE and root for them to win.

The curse of multi-stanning.

Excited for this group but too bad the 48G fans are out there being the reason why the ocean is so salty.

On one hand I understand, because 3 JPN members is really not a lot tbh. This is clearly not an ideal scenario to a show which premise was fairness among KRN & JPN trainees.

On the other hand, they've been salty since forever, so I'm not surprised at all to see them bailing, and honestly I'm glad, we won't have to deal with their ugly asses in this fandom. I'm sure if the lineup would have been fairer, they'd be in here agonizing over lines, screentime and all sorts of details analyzing JPN girls getting still screwed over by Mnet or whatever. They're kinda obnoxious like that, and I noticed a lot of them didn't give any KR trainees the time of day to begin with, while a lot of Kpop fan fell for JPN girls and supported them hardcore. It was a bit annoying to see, the openness just wasn't there.

People are calling IZONE the fromis_9 2.0

But really that comparison isn't even possible lol

Jo Yuri is gonna show her fellow fromis friends what being successful is (this isn't supposed to be offensive okay, I'm a fromis fan)

I'm honestly so glad for Yuri. She caught my attention since the first episodes and I was rooting for her the most out of the Stone girls. I fell for Gyuri too afterwards, but Yuri remained my fave Stone girl still, and Gyuri not making it was alright, she already has a group to return to, but Yuri, wew, that was unexpected and an amazing reversal! I feel like the two of them will meet on stages of music shows, it'll be great!

Like I said in in the other thread a few days ago, they target young japanese kpop fans primarly so it is better for the group to have more korean members. To the public's eyes, AKB is irrelevant and PD48 is nonexistent. The only thing that can be questionned is the number of japanese wotas who will support the group. Are they interested because they also like kpop/their girl is in/they became fans out of interest ? It's a tough question lol

For Aki-p, the main purpose of PD48 was to get foreign people interested in the 48 group. He already succeeded.

I absolutely agree with your analysis there, and Aki-p is clearly the winner here. He pulled a reversal on P48 idols image, and now INTL fans know who they are, and are interested. I expect him to announce a group very soon, one that'll include a lot of eliminated P48 contestants, and I'll be here for it!

aww Jurina TT,

hopefully you will get to love the j-line members who are in the group now,.

I already do though? Nako has been a fixed top3 pick of mine since her first performance, and I like Saku since pre-show! Both of those girls are part of my 8 faves this group has! The only one I'll need warming up to is Hitomi, I still don't get what people see in her, never has, but it'll come eventually!

Wee Woo did actually pretty good in the charts and We Like wasn't that bad

They killed them for the huge hiatus and the whole Kyla-situation

Exactly this. Pristin's music and songs have never been the big problem here, both songs were not the best songs ever, but they were solid enough to be liked and become a bit iconic (WeeWoo especially, you'd see people humming it easily on variety shows). However, not being able to make a comeback in a year, is definitely one big problem in an industry that is fast-paced as hell.

I've said it from the beginning that the majority of the hate she was getting were from bitter akgae fans. Her young age was the excuse they needed to attack her position in the group. The hate she'll get will start to die down when the group starts promoting as one, and others see how well the girls get along.

TBH. It was funny how transparent those people were tbh, but they can stay mad, Wonyoung girlie will slay regardless!

hmmm...I think both Korea and Japan are okay with the lineup. I hope the girls debut is successful. I've said time and time again that International fans are mostly sheep and will follow the group if they are successful. If the group were to hit daebak in both countries, international fans will piggyback on said fame. I also see the group doing pretty well in china. There are quite a few girls that were always ranked pretty high on the polls done in China.

This tbh. They said the same about Twice at debut, the same about I.O.I & Wanna One, and welp, we all know all that turned out. Ifans will follow and bandwagon on anything if it's popular enough in Korea.

Did the sorter bias thingy:

1 Lee Chaeyeon
2 Yabuki Nako
3 Jang Wonyoung
4 Jo Yuri
5 Kim Chaewon
6 Choi Yena
7 Miyawaki Sakura
8 Kwon Eunbi
9 Kim Minju
10 Honda Hitomi
11 Ahn Yujin
12 Kang Hyewon

It's absolutely accurate as of now! I have 8 faves in the group, but I don't have a main one yet though, so it'll be interesting to see how things will change while following the group and discovering the girls through variety shows and daily interactions. Heck, I might even get a true main bias out of this, I hope so!

Also yeah, I agree with people saying Aki-P won. This show made me a hardcore Jurina stan (she's up there as the 5th member of my overall ultimate biases list, so yeah...) as well as many other girls I'll gladly follow and hope to hear from  in the future.

btw how was Dream Girls perceived in Korea? I know i-fans hate the song with a passion, but what about k-fans?

They sold over 100k albums and the song ranked nicely even though it wasn't a huge success, I say it still did great.

I just realized this is the first group I'm stanning where I'm older than ALL of the members, whew

I was already older than all of I.O.I members, so, like, this ain't news to me tbh :'D

We will live through the salt. I remember peoples being salty about IOI too and we live through it. XD

We're salt-proof you and I, been there done that, we know the drill <3

Glad you're stanning too, this means this thread will get regular updates and be as lively as I.O.I's! chuplz.png

KCONs and at least one Asia Tour. If they are as popular as Wanna One (which I think), I could see them doing a "world tour" and going to the USA and why not to Brasil (and of course not to Europe, Oceania or Africa because almost no one cares about us)

Hey, I.O.I went to Paris and I saw them there. Sometimes they do care about us, let's not lose hope just yet imstupid.png

The exclusive contract part isn't really surprising, it was gonna be hella hard to manage both groups at the same time without making fans frustrated over it (been there done that) and without the girls themselves being overworked to death. Still, this is some huge news. Maybe somehow AkiP isn't so sad that there isn't that many JPN members in the final group after all. He can keep a lot of them to himself now.
