I got 6/12 in. Lol at all the people shitting on Hyewon, did they really think there wasn't a strong chance she'd make it? She's gonna bring the shine on all their faves and they're gonna eat crow.

I don't think anyone should be expected to love every member of the group, but it's silly to ditch anyone you liked who made it just because you're salty that someone else didn't make it, even worse if you're salty because someone you didn't like made it. I think one should come here and support the group for the girls you like and who knows you might end up liking someone you didn't care about much before, and if not that's fine too, you're still here backing the girls you stan.

Had Yuri trained anywhere before Idol School? I know they went in with no companies but iirc there were a few contestants who had previously trained at other companies.

Very dissapointed that We Made It video wasn't set to Drake's remix of Souljaboy's "We Made It", someone needs to get on that now.

I didn’t see the Irene comparison when it was first mentioned but she clearly leaned into it once it became a thing and I started to see it a bit more. The Hyojung comparison seems more apt though.

Oh ok, either way I feel like if one is true (them knowing how many Koreans would make it) it's not much of a stretch to assume the other (they knew who). 

 

Regardless I don't know how true the story about the tickets being bought in advance is so I don't want to give it too much weight since I haven't seen any reputable source report on it.

I really hope Pledis won't give them rubbish tracks for the debut! I'm not a fan of Pledis's musical history. They've only had hits if it was by Shinsadong Tiger in the past.

This is objectively not true though, in fact I can't think of a single Pledis hit made by Shinsadong Tiger.
