On the 19th, Ryucheru revealed tattoos on both shoulders: one of his wife's real name "Tetsuko" and the other of his son's name, "Link."

On Instagram, fans left comments such as "I received a shock from the tattoo," "You won't be able to take [your child] to pools and onsens. I feel sorry for the child," "You shouldn't reveal tattoos on Instagram," and "Your appearances on TV will decrease."

On the 21st, Ryucheru wrote on Instagram "I imagined that in itself, I though that I would be judged like this. How is a society that holds this much prejudice. It can't be helped. No, I want to change it."

"I decided 3 years ago."

He gave details of why he get the tattoos on both shoulders. "Before getting married, I decided 3 years previously. I thought a lot in those 3 years, and I got the resolve. On this body, for the purpose of protecting the precious smiles of my family. So, I had the names of my precious family etched on my body. I have no intention of hiding it. But it's not like I wanted to show my willpower. I want to live naturally. I would like for the prejudice to disappear."

I can understand that it's part of their history for a long time now, but times are changing. Yakuza like they were known are basically extinct (not saying yakuzas don't exist anymore, they do, they just changed their way of doing and business) ... It's time to move on and realize that getting a tattoo doesn't mean you're a criminal or a thug or that you don't respect your body.

 

It's an artistic way to express your feelings and keep it on YOUR body.

 

The reasoning behind "it's been this way for a long time so it won't ever change" is kinda against evolution, things change damn.

Well think yourself if you haved tattoo..

I have a friend like this too., but when someone from he's family get accident and need blood to help., and only he in the family that time have same blood but he can't share he's blood and help family only because tattoo..

You know what he do.. He run all of the place begged to other people to help his family..

 

And after that what he say to me., he's regret having tattoo.. He think he can make proud special people for him with tattoo., but the reality he can't help anyone again with the simple/most needed in life like share blood..

 

So for me people whom have tattoed only someone not cared what in the future or people whom know the damage but choice to become apathetic person and full of himself..

You can be dumb/stupid, egoist, narcist, i don't care but don't become apathetic., it's like you have brain to think what's better but chose not cared about it..

 

I'm really hate personality like that..

And for me, i think it's not antipathetic if you think what's better for other people life/future., if someone didn't know what's better and only like to follow his desire..
