[AJ] Nicki Minaj features on alternate version of BTS’s “IDOL�, which is an … interesting choice

When BTS sent out a tweet praising Nicki Minaj‘s ‘Queen‘ album complete with links to buy, people wondered what was going on and if a collab would happen. Well, it turns out things definitely went in that direction as they reached out to Nicki and she agreed to appear on “IDOLâ€.

 

According to an article published in he Seoul Economic Daily, BTS reached out to the Queen rapper after completing Love Yourself: Answer, and she accepted their offer to appear as a featured singer.

 

So that’s cool, I guess.

That said, it’s hard to ignore the timing of this, which is … not the best considering the push of their socially conscious image and stuff like ending violence against children.

After all, in the past Nicki has supported her brother that was convicted of sexually assaulting a child, while recently she’s been going all out on defending 6IX9INE (who pled guilty to sexual misconduct involving a child) and bizarrely shouted out Margaret Thatcher to which somebody else made a better reply than I ever could.

Her meltdown over Travis Scott getting #1 was just funny, but the rest is certainly not.

But honestly, I doubt most fans of BTS will care, because hell Minaj herself maintains huge following and relevancy regardless of any of the aforementioned mess of hers that’s been in the news recently. Just sucks to see because I really don’t think BTS needed this at all.

She knew her debut wouldn't go #1 (release same day as Kanye) although it did go #1 and Pinkprint wouldn't go #1 becaaue taylor was dominated with 1989... Hell Nicki almost pushed back her album and was gonna go up against Ariana.. She's said she's mad about HOW it went #1.... Travis was selling merchandise that was NOT bundled with and album and tour passes with no tour dates and billboard counted them as album sales.. Billboard already said they have to change the rules again because of it! Also a lot of the other stuff about Stormi and Kylie she was trolling and she was joking about having beef with baby Stormi on Queen Radio!

 

Her Tour was NOT cancelled but postponed... And it's just the US dates.. Everything else remains the same and she's doing the European leg first and Future and 69 won't be there!

It's so transparent how they're not actually concerned about this, especially if it's AJ and his readers, and it's more about finding another reason to hate on the group they already dislike.
