Red Velvet havent performed in MCOUNTDOWN this era. They're skipping the said music show. Usually, SM artists first comeback stage is on MCD but Power Up's first comeback stage is Music Bank (8/9).

 

There's also no broadcast of MCD last week (8/16)

 

And for today's MCD (8/23), Red Velvet is skipping the show again and will perform their goodbye stage tomorrow at Music Bank as stated in their official schedule.

 

 

Red Velvet schedule for today are only radio shows.

 

 

Not only Red Velvet but Super Junior D&E too. They released their album last Thursday (8/16) and their first comeback stage was on Music Bank (8/17)

 

And for today, they wont be on MCD but instead will be on a fansign

 

 

 

So what do you guys think???? Do you think Red Velvet will win today's MCOUNTDOWN? And btw, the only chart that Power Up is #1 is in Mnet. Is MNET trying to win SM back?

Looks like SM has a history with Mnet and Mnet Countdown. Probably some behind the scenes stuff.

SM want SM groups to get Daesang awards or a lot of screen time on MAMA 2018 and Mnet refused it for now, I hope SM will not send their idols there, the same with YG.

Mnet have rule, artist should promote in one music show in that week to get nominated in mcountdown.. Even if the show they appear not mcountdown and only music bank/ core/ inkigayo..

They nominated, so they will win..
