I'm hoping her to get new contract with other company or have a collaboration at least with Chungha and Sohye. She could do well as TV variety panelist but the spots are often taken by veterans. Actress won't do, she has not standard beauty and people will see her as Somi in every role. Not true. I can think of 2 idols off the top of my head who left JYP (Hyuna and Chungha) and debuted/re-debuted as idols. I'm sure there are plenty more. Tbh i think she will sign with a smaller company but within a big media conglomerate (CJ, Loen, etc). I don't think her image is already worn out. B612 22,399 Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Not when JYP has only stagnated her career, just because she left JYP doesn't mean doesn't want to be an idol I think all you have to do is look around, the only IOI girl doing well is Chungha and the only PD101 girl doing well in a group is Soyeon everyone lost their initial hype because of rushed debuts but those two and Somi happens to be SO FREAKING YOUNG that saying she was be wasted is actually offensive to other idols trying their luck at 25+ years old not to mention the fact that she was still doing CFs, photoshoots and collabs, she was also hanging out with the girl group members and just a while ago she went to Twice's concert with them so it's not like her future was unknown idk what happens behind the scenes but it's only logical to think that if she still wants to be an idol it will actually take her a lot longer than it would at JYP when they are clearly going to debut a new gg (they need to anyways) anyways, things will be more clear the next weeks so we shall see Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
