I just see a massive disconnect between what Aretha does and what that show honors. I HATE The BET Awards, but I know that they will have the best tribute, because they'll most likely bring out the old black singers with actual voices like Patti and Chaka. '' If VMAs do pay tribute to Aretha: '' VMA butchers Aretha's classics - do this generation of artists have no talent?!
