North and South 4,680
Asia's latest weapon for global domination. Dear goodness. They can make things sound dramatic. And then Simon and Martina. Sighs. Seeing them in a serious program was a little jarring. The poor guy sounds so earnest in his attempt to understand why us foreign fangirls/ fanboys are so rabid. mglsts 960
It added nothing special from all the other documentaries, but it was fairly interesting and exposed in a decent manner.
denizen mars 5,911
What are some point that interested you? they hit soft power, plastic surgery, and the economic benefits of hallyu pretty well, and in a fairly light-hearted manner, and had a great variety of informal interview subjects. Oh, to everyone who hasn't watched the whole thing yet, I would warn you to skip from 17:00 to 18:00 if you're squeamish.
김민주 16,324
I'm actually favorably impressed by this segment. They aren't funny anymore honestly, but I like their serious segments like this and explaining how popular Kpop actually is in Korea (talking about EYK not the whole thing lol) But I like the whole thing as well
Joon 8,222
Why EvoL and Lunafly? They're not exactly representatives of the "K-pop Invasion." Oh well. Will watch anyway. Maybe they will impress me.
denizen mars 5,911
Why EvoL and Lunafly? They're not exactly representatives of the "K-pop Asian." Oh well. Will watch anyway. Maybe they will impress me. Small-time groups are much easier to easier to get time with, is my guess. And Lunafly wasn't interviewed, they just showed them perform. I'm just surprised bigger groups weren't interested in the potential exposure. Maybe because the piece isn't 100% positive? I dont know if the show is popular at all though, I've never heard of it. It's about halfway through. It's interesting to me. That ahjumma Stella was adorable.
