Super Junior D&E Share Thoughts On Henry Leaving SM Entertainment

In a recent interview, Super Junior D&E talked about Henry‘s departure from SM Entertainment earlier this year.

 

On August 13, Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk sat down for a round of interviews ahead of their upcoming comeback with their new mini album “‘Bout You.â€

 

When asked about Henry parting ways with their agency in April and whether it had hurt their feelings, the two idols replied, “We don’t feel hurt at all.†Instead, both members expressed that they felt proud watching Henry make his own way after leaving SM Entertainment.

 

Eunhyuk remarked, “[Henry] is someone who had his own dreams and knew what he wanted to do, so we’ve always cheered him on. I hope that he gets to do more of the things he wanted to do and that everything goes well for him. I think he’s been doing a great job pursuing his ambitions through both variety programs and music, and seeing that makes me feel proud of him.â€

 

He added, “I believe he’s in the middle of filming a movie right now. During a recent video call, he told me that he missed me. For some reason, I started tearing up.â€

 

After leaving SM Entertainment in April of this year, Henry has gone on to establish his own personal studio in China and has also forged a partnership with a brand-new Korean agency, The Cre8tive Lab.

I really appreciate the freedom Suju has, they don't hold back and talk about everything.

 In contrary to the majority of SM groups with members who left, who are using the "if we don't talk about it they never existed" treatment (not blaming the groups but SM management)

 

So I love the fact that they openly support him and admit to still be in contact and follow his activities.

suju members are great when they talked about former members and labelmates. even when hangeng's lawsuit with sm was messy, they openly talked about him and still keep in touch.

i'm sure sj's label is still under sm. sj label is sm's sub-label. not sure how that works and whether henry could join them.

Are you serious? All I see you post here are whining about SM's supposed mistreatment towards EXO. They can't leave otherwise they'll have to pay huge amount of fine or through lawsuit which will make it worse for them.

They dont block him, he have the same shows as he had before to appear.  He do extrem well. Have his TV shows, have new cf´s, has open his own vlive channel a few days ego. I didnt even nearly expected him doing as well, but he do and i am proud. SM cant even block him as he left by contract expire and not by nullifying. He is free to do what he wants.
