I want to dye my hair but

I really want to dye my hair especially since I had dark black virgin hair for the rest of my life but my hair is pretty thin due to hair loss. I've been treating my hair to oils and stopped using heat tools for a couple months now so it's slowly getting better.

To not make my hair worse as it already is, I don't want to dye my hair fully. Instead, just the ends of my hair. Will my hair be damaged or affect my scalp if I dye just the bottom parts of my hair?

Since you said you have dark hair, keep in mind that it may require multiple rounds of bleaching to get the desired result if you want a light color on your tips. Also for it to look good it has to be done in a sort of ombre and the fade requires quite a bit of length to look pretty. If you already have damaged, frail hair you risk it breaking, especially if you continue to dye it after it starts to fade.

It will make the ends drier and more brittle but it won't affect your hair growth or anything. Because your hair is dark, I'd recommend going to a hair dresser. You will have to lighten it and this can go wrong (orange amgplz.png ) if you don't know what you're doing.

What oils do you use?? My hair is also pretty thin and I am experiencing hair loss. I'm using a doctor recommended hair serum but I don't want to solely depend on it. I used to color my hair a lot and I guess this is one of the reason of hair loss.

I tried coconut oil but that didn't work. Brahmi oil seems to work fine but my hair is slowly growing back. I think castor oil is good too but I haven't tried it yet. My hair loss was mainly from stress over the years and I'm trying to relax now xD

Is the serum working for you? Hair is so important and yet I've mismanaged it over the years and it wasn't until I spotted a bald spot on the crown of my head that I finally did something :( Shampoo also plays a huge role so make sure you get the right one for you hair/health :D

There was a time when I use to wash my hair everyday.I guess stress as well as negligence were the main factors. I have never oiled my hair but I am starting to, I use hot coconut and rosemary oil treatment. I can see hairs growing back though I am not sure if it's because of the serum. I am taking biotin tablets too. I just wish I could grow it back to how it was 2-3 years ago..
