Janet Jackson is creating quite the event around the launch of new single ‘Made For Now.’

Set to arrive this Friday, a number of major promotional elements have been lined up in support of the Daddy Yankee assisted jam.

The latest of which includes the premiere of her very own station on SiriusXM.

Details below…

In an announcement made moments ago, it was revealed that the Pop queen will take control SiriusXM’s The Groove (channel 50) on the platform beginning this Friday (August 17th) at noon.

So what can listeners expect from the week-long takeover?

The legend will open up to SiriusXM in a series of interviews about her brand new material, her classic catalogue, her influences and the music of today that she can’t get enough of.

Confirmation of Jackson’s radio stint comes after it was announced that she’ll be performing ‘Made For Now’ for the first time on TV â€˜The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Friday. The song’s Dave Meyers-directed video also drops on the same day.

Suffice to say, it’s all popping off in a mere matter of days! Buzzing!

Your thoughts?

I'm looking forward to it. She gives very great and thoughtful interviews and I've always loved her personality.

I've been a fan of hers since the early 90's and despite me not enjoying most of her work since 'The Velvet Rope' I still root for her.
