People, netizens especially, view them as goddesses but tbh I find most of them quite plain looking. In fact, the only actresses who I actually think are pretty are Shin se Kyung and Han ye Seul. Apparently idols are below actresses visual wise which confuses me because in general idols are much better looking and more eye catching imo. I just don't get it. Maybe I'm just weird. But many of them also fail to look as good when they switch to actress styling. You need to have better features (like bigger eyes, fair skin etc) to stand out as an actress... It's also not helping that most idols don't even have standard acting talent 101, so they look awkward and out of place on Kdrama or Movie.
