GirlBye 27,959 Posted August 12, 2018 Share Posted August 12, 2018 having been a rv fan from the start and being one of the ones that was really excited when yeri was added to the group, it sucks seeing her get a lot of criticisms for her dancing i see some rv fans claim it's just b/c she can't dance which is no excuse really i remember seeing this fancam and thinking she had performed the best out of the three seeing this fancam she can dance...so it seems to be case of her just not putting in the effort there's no real point to this thread, i just see a lot of people claiming rv fans are shielding her which isn't the case it irks me to see some of her stages knowing she can dance and hit all the moves but... the claim that all she does is network is false since she has posted multiple vids of her practicing her singing and composing...she even wrote lyrics for a song and shared her self composed songs with fans i hope she can bring back the same energy she had during icc and dd! i wonder if it's just all the hate she's gotten since debut that has affected her...criticize her but to say she shouldn't have been added to the group is some bad stages over the years doesn't discredit her worth and effort Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Y’all know how brutal knetizens can be just look at jonghyun and other idols who committed suicide~ anyways I think she switched her focus into singing a lot and composing~ she often puts covers on Instagram of how she’s practicing and receives praise for her hard work on Instagram but it’s like when that’s counteracted with negativity how much does it matter ~ to equate my reasoning it’s like if i make 100,000 a year but my taxes for some odd are 100,000 is all the positive in my life outweighing the negative. clevercactus 496 Posted August 14, 2018 Share Posted August 14, 2018 From the two fancams of Yeri's solo dance (and the very very many RV videos and fancams I have watched), you can see that she has very stiff shoulder and neck. She probably has a bit of a forward neck and makes her dancing look a bit weird. Even when she's going all out, the quality of her movements are not great as she isn't (in my opinion at least) a good dancer and she has stiff shoulder and neck. So when she's putting less effort, it looks really bad. So in order for her dancing to look on par with the rest of Red Velvet, she needs to ALWAYS go 100%, which understandably is hard. Jennie on the other hand has a natural swagger and is a good dancer, so even with little effort, she still looks cool. I'm a huge RV fan and I love all their songs, but to be honest, I cannot see what value-add Yeri brings into Red Velvet. She looks cute when doing her "rookie rookie" part... but I find her presence on the stage a bit of an annoyance. Like pineapple on a good pizza.
