The later one inspired the movie Black Swan.( also reccomend Paprika by the same director but its less horror and just strange and abstract) You could also try Serial Experiments Lain and Hell Girl. The most classic horror shows you could get with anime would be Yamishibai, Elfen Lied, Another, and When They Cry. But all of those have either jumpscares or gore, so you probably won't like those. Amazing! Monster and Perfect Blue sound very interesting. I dont mind gore and jumpscares, I just prefer suspense and psycological. Thank you! Never seen the show but I remember fans saying that there was both gore and psychological horror in it.
