yep, the world needs more men like him.

I´ve never watched ikon TV, but this scene is just great. He is enjoying himself so much, it is fun to watch. And he is right, he is pretty. Considering now watching ikon TV...

Oh, you should! That scene is from an episode where B.I directed a fun MV for one of their songs. They had to earn money for the production themselves so in an earlier episode they got part time jobs. Since the money wasn't much they said they couldn't invite actresses for the MV so some of the boys had to play the female characters. It was really funny.

the bar is so low..

For what? I didn't claim anything, I just thought to share a perspective on him. We know how people view hip hop rappers, right?

Soooo.. Common sense! What's so interesting about this?

Nothing interesting for you, I guess. No need to comment then, am I right?

People like you are annoying, you complain about countries like Korea's backwards view on women and men's sexist attitudes but then dismiss a man showing a more progressive attitude.

a man: “no means no†“don’t hurt a womanâ€

y’all: OMG PROGRESSIVE KING

like that’s literally the bare minimum that we should expect from a decent human being..

You're taking being cynical too seriously. I didn't make this thread to praise him, I made it to share some little quotes and actions to reflect his way of thinking on a subject so people know and not have a different opinion of him since he's a rapper, from YG, from SK etc, all these "reasons" people use to judge. I could have go on and shared how many times he has helped women with no expectations if I wanted to get praises for him.

This wasn't the only example though... There is more (even written in this thread) and it goes beyond just doing the bare minimum. Telling people on a show that is being aired on TV that they should respect woman is not doing the bare minimum, writing a song and dedicating a part of your lyrics to respect woman is not the bare minimum.

It's not even just one song. I don't think I've ever seen him write lyrics objectifying women in any way even in the stronger hip hop songs he's made. His ideal is Wonder Woman and he keeps using it while also being aware that even the strongest woman has a soft side worthy of appreciation. It's something that might be normal (even though for hip hop rappers it really isn't if we're being honest) but I love about him.

Just another example I could think of right now:

"you work and walk and spit words like a boss

wonder woman, in reality you’re so feminine" - Bobby, My type
