The song is about the lead singer's experience being sexually abused when he was a child at the hands of his babysitter. He told his parents and they never believed him. He wrote the song to say that because his parents didn't believe him then they might as well have been his abuser. It's a very VERY sad song but Sori's reaction(the woman that's reacting so strongly to it) made me cry. I heard the song years and years ago.
