Do Koreans find Europeans attractive?

I know in Korea to be pretty you need to have a small nose and big eyes, a v line

Europeans including myself don't have these features tbh so I was always curious do they find us attractive or not 😂😂😂😂

I will probably go to Korea next year so I am curious how they will look at me

It depends on the individual: if you're ugly you're ugly, if you're beautiful you're beautiful, just like anywhere else in the world. But in general East-Asians do find Northern European features ideal, fair skin, tall, high nose, and big eyes.

Some info so we don't get stuck in 19c anthropology - the features you're describing are indo-european from all over Europe (South Europe is slightly tanner).

Well as far as I know they think Sharapova is ugly

While Danilova is pretty

Though I feel like Europeans in general like the Sharapova type more

So it depends

Imo, Sharapova is best for her height and body proportions (and personality), not for her face. Don't really think generalizations like this are true though (don't know who the other girl is, but maybe they like her for her korean-style make-up).

Okay cool. I forgot to add that they find blonde hair and blue eyes particularly ideal. So when I said Northern-European I was thinking more specifically about North-Germanic people, not Indo-European. My bad.

I get what you're saying. smile.png I'm just interested in these things, so Norwegians, for example, are 1/3 West-European, 1/3 East-European (these 2 are male indo-european haplogroups) and 1/3 North-European (of course this differs between different studies).

Idk, when I was in Europe I noticed that around me people used to compliment looks of girls who looked more like Sharapova, while girls like the other one (big eyes, similar nose and jaw) didn't have the same success. Maybe it's just my experience. I noticed the same thing on the internet though.

The last girl lived in korea and was a model for some time

I disagree about Sharapova, since (at least anecdotally) Asian dudes I know find Maria Sharapova attractive. It's true they're usually more fond of softer features.

To answer OP's question, yeah Asians in general do find Europeans and white people in general attractive, but usually fit people whom everyone finds attractive anyway like movie stars or sports stars. Sadly some random out of shape bloke won't get a magical boost in Korealand and be considered equal to Brad Pitt lol.

I think it depends on the Korean and the European. Europeans are pretty diverse in general. Example: An Icelandic girl looks nothing like a Portuguese, while both can be beautiful. Some Koreans might be attracted to the Icelandic girl, others to the Portuguese. And a person that's considered not that pretty in his/her home country won't be considered pretty in Korea.

I have no clue about genealogy so that's pretty interesting

I follow fashion a bit and I can tell you that the other girl wouldn't have a career neither as a high fashion model nor as a commercial model in Europe/The US (the main markets). Keep in mind that girls in Europe are not into that kind of make-up she has and it seems to me that her face is greatly influenced by it. Regarding Sharapova, I still think her body type is a big part of her appeal, I personally think her face looks better when she weighs less and her cheeks are smaller.
