Dog owners: do your pets stay inside or outside of your house?

Inside, I think it's mean to leave dogs outside.

Outside of your house yes but inside the vicinity of your house not necessarily inside the house, no. Also some dogs still need to get used to being inside of the house and have to be trained especially puppies that will wee in every corner of the house. Unless the owner intentionally neglects them outside of the house then that is a case of animal cruelty.

I kinda agree I just treat my dog like he's a real part of the family which means living in the house with us. I live in a shitty area so maybe this has something to do with it but the people who lock their dogs out round here in the garden just leave them alone. I hear them howling a lot they seem lonely af.

Most of the time they like being outside because they can run around and play with each other. We have the door open, so they can just come in. When we have guest over they are kept outside.

Depends on the type of dog. We had hotdogs stay inside, but they like going out without supervision (very friendly) lol Our belgian stays outside but still inside since we have walls. She's strong and aggressive so we try to maintain her inside. Although, if time permits my dad or brothers walk her. (I can't... Her strength is no joke!)

Edit: not really the type. More like their personality.
