Personally I think that beat down should have came with a phone call to the girls parents so that they can press charges, but a beat down is a start I guess. They should be careful though, because law is still law and they could get in trouble for assault even though it was for a good reason. I don't feel sorry for that pedo though. Better he goes to jail and/or is monitored by the authorities. Also let the girl's parents know so they can support their daughter and prevent something similar happening again.
