Fan Bingbing's tax evasion scandal

Wait why is fcc involved too? Does she manages his taxes or something?

My understanding is it's common to extend the restrictions to family members so they cannot flee with assets or to a place where they can move money.

I guess we'll see.

The main reason why he ranked so high in Idol Producer is precisely because of his sister - who of course supported him during the show, posting about him on Weibo and such.

He doesn't really like it when it's brought up though. He seems quite serious on being recognized for his own merits.

Oh wow thinking about it I wonder if this was the real reason FCC couldn’t go to the Thailand fan meet a couple of weeks ago. First fansites were saying he was having passport issues, then it was announced he was sick and had to go to the ER, I felt there was something fishy about that. I mean you have to pay your taxes! But I really hope this doesn’t effect his career too much because he’s very young and even though he’s benefited from BingBing’s fame and wealth it’s still not his fault and I don’t see him having been involved...

2018 is not her year, first her ovepriced drama couldn't air because of GYX's sexual assault case and now this, because some host's personal vendetta against the entire crew of FXG's movie. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of C-ent uses Yin Yang contracts to evade taxes.

From the hollywood reporter source article:

Cui later stated that the second contract was, in fact, not Fan's; but the damage had already been done.

Hope this Cui producer gets sued even if he apologized. How can he accuse FBB of having 2 contracts w/o checking the evidence first? idontthinksobetchplz.png

Concerns that ying-yang contracts could be a common practice in the industry sparked a sell-off of shares at several leading Chinese film and television companies on Monday.

Leading studio Huayi Brothers Media saw its shares fall by the 10 percent daily limit to a five-year low of 7.36 yuan on the Shenzhen exchange.

Shares of Zhejiang Talent Television and Film, in which Fan owns a 1.6 percent stake as the 10th-largest shareholder, also plunged 10 percent to 14.85 yuan in Shenzhen — the company's lowest close since March 2015, according to the South China Morning Post.

Other listed companies seemingly unattached to Fan were similarly hard-hit: Jack Ma's Alibaba Pictures Group slipped 5.8 percent in Hong Kong, and TV drama producer Wuhan DDMS Culture slumped 9.8 percent on the Shanghai exchange.

Is Huayi Brothers Media Ruibin's co or Jeffrey's co? Hope the stock hit was just the usual stockholder panic and not bc the co has those kind of contracts. Hope Ruibin/Jeffrey's careers won't be affected if they have normal contracts.

Oops. When does she start filming that Hollywood movie with Jessica Chastain and Lupita N'yongo? Because if this doesn't get resolved soon, she's going to find herself recast. It would serve her right if she did indeed evade taxes.

People like this avoiding paying millions in taxes and meanwhile, my state is riding my ass for $800.
