Koreans habit of blurring others in their pics

Usually the faces of staff are blurred because they have the right to anonymity as opposed to celebrities who are expected to be on camera

But in this particular case, it's pretty weird because they're both so central in the picture and it's only half blurred

I saw picture from limited fanmeeting where fans were with the group, yet their faces were blurred. Seriously if I gave so much money and effort into going there and ended up without even a picture, i would flip table. :D

Where did you see them?

It's very possible the official ones given to the fans were not blurred.

maybe to hide the identity of the family from sasaengs?

They have them tagged though and the accounts of the family members are not even private so if fans really wanted to see what they look like they can still go through their IGs

To answer the OP;

Yea It's weird. Maybe the other person asked to be blurred? Some people don't like having their selfies on certain idols sns sites.

I also find it funny how kfans are always trying to hide their face when there's a camera on them too^^

Who knows tbh

In some cases I heard it's to "protect" the other party for whatever reasons. Usually due to their face or facial expressions are not flattering

maybe they forget the family member's accounts aren't private as well?

but i think that it's because idols' photos get reposted very often, so it may just be that a photo they post that gets shared around on public platforms does violate their family member's privacy, whereas if it's a photo that the family member has chosen to share on their public account that gets shared, then there isn't a violation of privacy.

This one is failed but usually I think it's a good thing that they blur other people faces. It's not because you're in a picture that you want everyone to see your face, it's a question of privacy. People should do the same here, I can't count how many times I told people to delete pictures where I was because I didn't want to be seen on Facebook

I've seen some idols and actors blur out the faces of their family members too. Idk but I find this very annoying

why? it is their right if they don't want to display their identity to the fans...

The blur came out as veeeeeeery awkward. Both of them are clearly posing for selfie, and the blur is futile because we still can see clearly her face.

She could ask the staff beforehand, if she ended up posting this, would she mind to appear. If she did, the trainee could smack some cute stickers like my faves always do. If she didn't, well if i were here I'd be confused, and offended.

Edit : a fanaccount? Someone said it's her own above me :derp: blur game is so weak lmao
