So many firsts with Sweet night... It is the first and highest Korean OST and Korean soloist to chart... and #9 emerging artist.. did we even think this was possible 2 weeks back.. I am so glad he is finally having his own identity as an artist....

He speaks so well.. He is such a perfectionist.. He just practiced in silence and hit us with an English song...

For a solo non promoted OST and 1 week notice Sweet night did really well in US, UK and Japan [all in the top 10 sales] and also other major markets.. #9 on emerging artist with one OST when most chart with an album.. Especially, in Korea when it was not even added to the streaming list and being an English track it still debut No.1 on melon toppling ON for 5 hours when ON had never left the top position since it came out.. got over 400K unique listeners in 20 hours.. could have been more for 24 hours if it had not been pushed down to 4... Debuted No. 1 in ichart daily and No. 3 melon daily.. No. 1 in Hanteo and No. 3 weekly Goan download with 1 day tracking...  I think he has potential to do well in Korea.. 

 

 

 

I think there is a lot of potential to do better next time esp streaming...  still it was a really successful release and I was really surprised how well the fanbases adapted to the promotion of the song in 1 week..
