“The last person to be revealed was SUGA. As BTS’s SUGA was revealed, the line-up of those who participated in the album was completed.

 

Upon hearing that we’ll be working together with SUGA and since SUGA raps and writes music, if you look at it this way, he’s similar to us. So, since he is someone who does both positions very well, many people were wondering, “Is it a rap feature? Is it producing? What is it?â€

 

There were so many people inquiring, many reporters asked us, so we provided the confirmation that he produced. Those of you who know will know, but SUGA, thankfully for us, really liked Epik High’s music in his younger days and he once said that through our music, he got a lot of inspiration. On the other hand, lately, we too, while listening to the music they (BTS) make, have been feeling many things. So as we discussed many things regarding what kind of song we should make when these two kinds of emotions come together, we thought, “Should we make this kind of song, that kind of song?â€, and we experimented a lot. Ultimately, SUGA and I co-wrote the song and with Mithra, wrote the lyrics. Oh! I feel like I’m going to spoil this… We’ve completed a kind of song that will become a consolation/comfort for many.

 

It will make you think, whether in existing Epik High’s albums, “have I heard this kind of song before?†and in BTS’s album as well, “have I heard this kind of song before?†We’ve completed a song that kind of meets at this middle point, and one that we really like.

 

Did I spoil anything by mistake…? (You did well / Good job) WOW that was so tough! I was about to say the title and stuff!â€
