Bosnia_HyunaLover <3 10,170
They are doing better comeback by comeback and having amazing sales and I'm so proud of everything they achieved â¤ï¸ But imo Adore U, Mansae, Pretty U and Boom Boom are so much better than everything that was released later I miss these eras so much 😢😢😢😢 and Oh My is not interesting to me at all which is breaking my heart because I adore all 13 members 😢😢😢 Anyone feeling the same like me? juu 3,359
agree, adore u and mansae were their best songs
Acer 396
it's not that only catchy but also something unique they should have brought in since look at kpop and competition right now bring something interspersing to make the viewers amazed which their previous hits had imo oh my! is still a nice song.. Winter Bear 9,460
As a causal listener, nothing from them has been catchy since Don’t Wanna Cry, like I liked hearing Oh My but it’s not got that pizzaz.

Winter Bear 9,460
I’d love something as strong as Mansae and Highlight again and I think a cross language song would interesting to see from them. No one saying if a song isn’t catchy it isn’t good, please don’t take it the wrong way.
good_morning 5,035
adore u is their best song imo but as they are growing up (both in terms of age and musically) they are experimenting with the genres (yes edm lol), sound and trying to deliver more fresh(?) and interesting sides of themselves not everyone is expecting them to do. and i'm all in for that as they are all adults now songs like mansae or adore u wouldn't suit them much, so they are looking for sth new and yet keeping their distinctive features which i def like and can hear from their albums. stream Oh My! Chu chu~ 2,534
Adore U is the superior song and era. Idk if it's cos of nostalgia but I miss their old songs too I'm still bopping to their new releases though, the only one I didn't really like was boom boom
Comfrey 5,911
Really? I like their more recent songs like Thanks and Oh My compared to their earlier work
Bluebells and Snowdrops 3,566
Maybe they are declining in terms of "catchy" songs, but I don't think their music quality has gotten worse. Personally, "Thanks" is my favorite Seventeen title track to date, even though it might not be as catchy as "Pretty U" or "Mansae".
accidie 1,152
nah I don't want them to be stuck with the sound forever even if that means I won't like their new songs that much.. oh my is a great song tho

tafattsbarn 6,150
I agree, but i really liked Clap and thought they were getting their groove back but then Thanks and now Oh my happened and i'm left feeling dissapointed again
coval 9,036
a song doesn't need a hook to be a good song yeah but a song should be memorable in the very leastI'm not saying their songs are bad I'm just saying that I could listen to a new song of theirs multiple times and half an hour later I woundnt be able to hum it back to you because I would have already forgotten it
Soogi 1,222
adore u is their best song imo but as they are growing up (both in terms of age and musically) they are experimenting with the genres (yes edm lol), sound and trying to deliver more fresh(?) and interesting sides of themselves not everyone is expecting them to do. and i'm all in for that as they are all adults now songs like mansae or adore u wouldn't suit them much, so they are looking for sth new and yet keeping their distinctive features which i def like and can hear from their albums. stream Oh My! i was gonna say all of this but you just saved me a lot of time lmao
Tee 9,628
Their new mini album is pretty good imo. I like Thanks and Oh My more than a couple of their previous title tracks.
WINE 1,853
I never like any of their releases since they debuted with Adore U but Oh My! changed it. The song is light and not overproduced imo maybe that’s why I really like it.
Glissando 616
They've tried a lot of different styles for their title tracks. Some click with me, others don't. It's kind of been a pendulum for since Mansae and Very Nice, but their experimentation means they'll always spiral back to something I enjoy
Sun☼Shine 4,273
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. After "Don't want to cry" it seems like they lost their spark.
