What if SM treats their female idols BETTER than male idols?

It's a fact that male groups tend to sell better than girl groups and Sexist Men Entertainment will do everything they can to push male groups out there while SNSD and especially f(x)'s promotions are less excessive in comparison.

 

Why? SM are more considerate of their female idols since they view them as beauty products. SM would not encourage them to participate in strenuous activities like Idol Championships to prevent injuries or stress. Notice how SNSD and f(x) hardly ever attends these events while Suju, Exo and SHINee...derp2.jpg

It is obvious that Exo have one hell of a schedule. They were promoted like crazy by SM and had to work their asses off to get where they are today. In contrary, SM has promoted f(x) incredibly less but in return the f(x) members have far more freedom than Exo indicating they are actually being treated better by SM than what kpop fans think.

 

f(x) and SNSD members has been on breaks and dates. They're living the life while Exo members like Kris prob wished he was in their position.

SNSD doesn't even need to promote to get large physical sales.

 

And, obviously there is a reason why male groups sell more - their fangirls.

f(x) r basically getting sub-CSJH treatment... SME hates them lbr.

 

SNSD promoted like 5 cycles in 2010 (Oh!/RDR/Hoot/JPN Genie/Gee)

They performed like 5 times a week in 2009, especially after Genie(I should kno, I have a huge chunk of their 2009 perfs in HD so come at me)

In 2008 they were everywhere too except after Black Ocean.

 

SNSD are doing solo activities now. They are releasing group stuff just for the sake of it, but they all hate their Korean releases so I guess it is a relief to the,

SNSD has basically been either promoting or touring since like 2012 too, so it's not even valid. And if you think the boys aren't dating too...

Ur talking about promotion here. If thats the case TVXQ, Suju and Exo gets the best treatment but JYJ, Hangeng and Kris begs to differ....Why is that then? :imstupid:

why do people always say f(x) is mistreated? their albums are probably one of the most high-quality in SM, they promote once a year (like most relevant k-pop groups), and SM lets them do individual activities. honestly i'd say f(x) is one of the groups that gets treated the best in SM since they usually don't have hectic schedules. they have it good, people who say they're mistreated need to pull that out of their ass lbr

If you want to compare their schedule,, compare it on the same period...

 

Snsd on their 2nd year may have more activities than exo (if not same)... They're constantly on TV,, attend college festival,, etc... (I don't really know about f(x) though)... And it's hard for them to use sns account since they're female idol.. They tend to get hate comment meanwhile exo in their 2nd year can have it freely~

 

As for that idol championship,, that thing only relevant in the last 3 or 4 years... And snsd already became the 1st GG,, so they don't need the exposure from that show... Why risk their health for some random tv show When they can bring cash from concert or something else... It's not worth it...

 

So no,, you don't have right to compare a group who has been working for 7 years to a group who is barely get out "rookie" world...

You know I was going to screencap Soshi's schedule from 2007-2012 but they did so much that I am not even going to bother. First know what you are talking about. SNSD is approaching their 7th year as a group and are just NOW, as in the last 2 years, getting tons of vacations and better spaced out schedules. As for F(X) they were on track to being promoted as hard but when Amber hurt her ankle in June 2010, she was sidelined for over a year while the rest of the girls did continue to promote without her. As a group they waited for her to come back before making new music [Pinocchio]. EXO are rookies. They do not get the perks that their sunbaes earned until they earn them. Oh and so you know both Soshi and F(X) have been in variety shows that test their athletic ability. KRYSTAL WON a ice skating competition. Krystal, Sulli and Luna have been on Idol Idol Star Athletics-Swimming Championships multiple times. Luna, Victoria and Amber also made a appearance on Idol Star Olympics where Victoria WON the gold for Fencing. FYI Luna was a three time WINNER for the high jump at the ISAC. And with Soshi they have been on Running Man multiple times, Shinwha Broadcast, and Miraculous Victory and Defeat [when groups had physical competitions with each other]. For Soshi that is all I could find prior to 2008.

Snsd worked twice as hard as exo did. Tell me, which snsd member got a whole month of vacay in their not even second year of promoting? None. The girls worked hard for what they get right now.

 

So saying that Sment treats snsd differently from sm boy groups is stupid and dumb.

 

Or maybe you're just a new fan to kpop and don't know a lot of shit snsd went through.

I actually think that in general, girl groups have it worst regardless of the company, imagine having a performance or a 3 hour long concert when you have your period/cramps or when you feel so bloated, or having to use a shirt that shows your belly bottom so you have to starve so your stomach won’t look big when filming/ performing   or maybe you gained 3 pounds since you use that outfit and it all went there? Or having to use skimpy cloth cause hey, that’s what is selling this days
