I want to send him some snacks and a card, but he told me he didn’t want me to buy him anything. He said he will buy for me and not the other way around. He sounded a bit embarrassed and he kept refusing. If I send it anyways, would it be a burden to him? If it seems like he's serious and genuinely doesn't want anything then maybe don't bother. Personally, I think it's a really nice and sweet gesture that most people would really appreciate.
