One of the jobs I want requires a degree in computer science or computer engineering, and I've heard both of those degrees are difficult. Meanwhile, I really like history and I always did really good in it, and I could eventually go to law school with that degree. I'll find a job even as a waiter if I have to but what will make me happy is learning about what I like after years of learning useless crap in details aka high school. It comes down to what will make you happier I guess: Will knowledge about things you like in detail or big amounts of money make you happier? The engineering industry is honestly a place where out of college you’ll be rolling in dough but after a couple decades you’ll be unemplyed. Plan for early retirement by investing.
