Wheely, Fast & Hilarious Movies! published by Cartoon Studios. KRU Studios's Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Norman Abdul Halim explained that the company's animated film, Wheely, which featured the world of the vehicle, did not emulate Hollywood's popular Cars.

 

 

 

"Some people have asked about it, and I want to emphasize Wheely has the power of his own storyline and different characters.

 

"In fact, before Wheely's copyright list in the United States, we have made sure that there is no similarity between the two animations," he said. 

Therefore, Norman said the main character, a yellow taxi named Wheely, was given different colors and patterns to differ from Cars. 

"Most taxis in Malaysia are red and coincidentally Cars are the same color, so we pick yellow and show Wheely like the old American taxi," he said. 

According to Norman, animated action comedy Yusry Abdul Halim has a production value of RM40.46 million in the international market and will be broadcast in 100 countries.

"Among them are China, South Korea, Germany, and Russia. At the moment, we are still in talks with distributors in Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan to broadcast Wheely there," he said.

 

 

 

 

Wheely will be airing nationwide from August 16 (in the Malay and English versions). The Primeworks Studios animated animation will also be aired on Brunei and Russia on the same date. - HMetro
