Even if Sehun doesn't post anything for Tao's birthday, how does Tao expressing his gratitude/thankfulness at having such a close friend in Sehun make him pathetic? 

 

I think this persons' point was just to show how one-sided Taohun is. You'd think that Sehun would write something for Tao on his birthday just as Tao wrote something for him, but Sehun didn't do that, and he probably never will. I don't think it has anything to do with Luhan or Tao being 'pathetic', but it's clear that Tao is more invested in this so called friendship than Sehun.

... or maybe, just maybe, he gave him a card, a gift or celebrated with him in private? Maybe he feels more confortable that way.

 

I doubt it's one sided because no one is forcing Sehun to hang out with Tao outside work almost every single day or go visit his hometown in a holiday, but if it is we'll find out soon enough since I doubt Tao wouldn't show it in his interactions with Sehun in public if he's bothered by something that he did.

If Sehun writes a message back, that'd be way too obvious…people's gonna call them gay. Even if that's not so…..

 

Like Sinnfb said, I don't think Sehun would want to hang out with Tao almost everyday if he doesn't like him or isn't at least a really close friend (Yeah, everyday…some pages ago if backtracked, they had a full-week-shopping and eating playdate). Of course, Sehun is not exactly the most flamboyant guy ever, so of course you wouldn't see him clinging around…Tao is the one who he actually spend time with the most nowadays. You can't deny the fact that Tao and Sehun are great friends. Sehun went to Tao's hometown during the holiday traditional festival with Tao's father…if it's one-sided like you're saying….I don't think Sehun would've agreed to go in the first place…or tag along to meet Tao's random Chinese friends out of nowhere.

i'm aware that they've been hanging out lately, but that's only because kai stopped going places. in 2012 and early 2013, it was kai and sehun who were always seen out and about — going shopping at 2 a.m., riding bikes in the park, eating lunch, etc. once exo started to gain more popularity, and more sasaengs, kai stepped back and started going out less and less. (now it's rare to see him anywhere  outside of exo's schedule.) because kai is such a recluse who hates being followed and photographed, sehun simply started going out with tao. i don't think it really means anything other than now, sehun isn't going out alone. (which i don't think he likes. sehun seems to be the type who likes to be accompanied places.)

I mean, Taohun aren't doing anything special or different. Everything Sehun is doing with Tao, he did with Kai long before.

I'm sure they've spent many Lunar New Year's together, seeing as they've known each other for 6 years and have been to each others' house. Unfortunately, they weren't in SM at the time, so the company couldn't sensationalize it. ~

 

Don't get why you're saying that their relationship is one-sided. Why didn't you say Tao is 'one-siding' Sehun? We all know Tao is a social butterfly and has TONS of friends…I cringe whenever someone says that Sehun is forced to hang out with Tao or something like that, because Tao definitely have other friends to hang out with. Which proves that Tao really consider Sehun a really close friend, since he hangs out with him a lot, and also that their 'friendship is mutual'. 

 

What's your point though? So you're acknowledging that Taohun are also super close friends like you're saying Sekai is? Great! 

 

It's one-sided as in only one person is invested; Tao. 

 

At the end of the day, you can ship whom you want to ship and believe what you want to believe. I'm done with this conversation.

Well, seeing as Kai knows Sehun's father and seemed really comfortable with him at Sehun's graduation, I'd say he's probably met him and been to his house. Not only that, but it's just common sense. Guys who've known each other for 6 years and all hung out with the same group of people (Taemin, Moonkyu, and that other guy who was on that episode of WGM with Taemin, Suho and Kai), have more than likely visited each others' house. I mean, I don't think you know just how much they were together during training.

I did a forum search for Sekai and saw that people were talking about them here. I wanted to comment on something that was said about Taokai and Sehun supposedly being jealous.

 

To begin, Taohun shippers should question and be perplexed at the reality of Sehun only interfering when Tao has interactions with Kai. When Tao gets close to Suho, Chanyeol, Baekhyun (or anyone else for that matter), Sehun doesn't seem to care. It's only when Tao is with Kai that Sehun gets 'possessive'. Why? And more importantly, is Tao really the one Sehun is being possessive over?

 

I know that everyone here ships Taohun and thinks they're going to have babies and ride off into the sunset, but could it be that despite Taohun being 'best friends', Sehun actually has a crush on Kai? I know what you're thinking; that doesn't make sense Regina. If Sehun liked Kai in that way, wouldn't he be spending all of his time with him instead of Tao? Well, not necessarily. Not if Sehun was purposely trying to keep Tao close to him, just to keep him away from Kai. 

 

Let's remember what we're talking about here. Sehun and Kai have known each other for almost 7 years. It's one of the longest running friendships in Exo. And in 2012, they were inseparable. They were essentially what Taohun is today. They were the ones riding bikes together by the river, going shopping at 2 a.m., always sitting together on the plane, etc. Taohun didn't come onto the scene until mid 2013 when Exo started to promote as twelve, and we saw the fall of Taoris. So basically, in the beginning, Tao would have started out as a third wheel to Sekai, because there is no doubting that at that time, Sehun was in fact in closer to Kai and knew him better than he knew Tao. So wouldn't it be more realistic based on what they were then and their history that Sehun would be possessive over Kai? 

 

So as Sekaitao/the three maknaes become closer, as part of some tactful yet subtle mechanism, Sehun pulls Tao closer to himself, which in turn, pushes Kai away from Tao. By doing this, Sehun hits three birds with one stone. 1) He's able to keep his friendship with Kai intact. 2. He's able to keep Tao and Kai apart, or from spending time together, and 3) He's able to keep his crush on Kai hidden, which is a pretty smart way of doing it, because no one seems to think Sehun has any kind of romantic feelings for Kai, seeing as he's always with Tao.

 

That's my take on the whole, "Sehun is jealous/possessive with Taokai." It would definitely explain why it's only Kai that seems to get a reaction out of Sehun when Tao is involved. And I think Sehun 'taking it out on' Tao isn't misplaced aggression at all, because if Kai is really the object of Sehun's affection, why wouldn't  Tao get the backlash? In Sehun's eyes, Tao is flirting with his  crush. I personally think that's the biggest red flag of all. The fact that Sehun (according to you guys) never gives Kai any kind of one-on-one confrontational flack for being around Tao or being physical with him, yet gets him to react, is quite telling. It's like when a woman finds out her husband is cheating, she wants to go beat up the other woman instead of her husband.

I can't believe I actually read something that long and thought I could get something out of it. Often times I do but nope, not this time. 

 

You should have known by the end of the first paragraph that you weren't going to get anything out of it, yet you continued reading. Probably because it subconsciously made sense to you, seeing as it is a strict objective illustration. But it's okay to deny that, since looking at your badges, I'm assuming you don't know how to handle the objective.

 

Not true in the least bit. Kai is not and has not been the only member to receive that kind of treatment from Sehun. There's been plenty of evidence of that. It's just more blatant with Kai. So your argument doesn't really hold up. But I don't even think you're being all that serious given your back and forth opinion of SeKai. Quite assuming I must say.

 

Where is this evidence? Please show me the tangible evidence. (I don't actually expect you to post evidence btw. This is there Google is your friend is inserted. Correct?)

 

I like how you say my argument doesn't 'hold up', but in the same post you admit that Sehun's seemingly negative reaction is much more apparent with Kai. Hmmm, something else that is quite suspect. (And yes, I have been going back and forth with Sekai, but just as you said in an earlier post, Sekai are brothers. And blood is  thicker than water.)

This whole thread is an assumption. You assume Sehun sees Tao as his best friend because of what? Because they have some childish pastime where they make videos on crappy Chinese websites and upload photos on instagram? Get real. At the end of the day, do you really think this brand new friendship that's not based on anything but their love of attention on social media sites and shopping can compare to a 7 year friendship that predates Exo and Tao altogether? Sehun will never care about and love Tao the same way he cares about and loves Kai. Ask lovergurl. Your fellow Taohun shipper agrees that Sekai are like brothers, and that's a bond that you can't break.

 

Anyway, I don't have anything against Taohun. I just had to go in a little bit because you said I assume, when all I see in this thread is assuming. (And Jesus, Taohun shippers base friendship on the most lousy, petty principles. *OMG THEY TOOK A SELFIE TOGETHER.* ~~~SOULMATES~~~")

 

 

sehun is not only jealous of kai but of the other members as well.look at the petition to free huang zitao thread you'll find what you're looking for. I believe there's also a jealous sehun tag in taohunnies tumblr. I can't link you i'm on my phone it's tiring lol

. And also, no one in here said that sekai weren't brothers you're the only one getting sad and defensive, making the sekai vs taohun comparison. I don't know if you want to create a shipping war but trust me we have enough of it with the hunhan and taoris shipper. Don't add sekai to this. And why is it only taohun that bothers you sehun has a lot of cute otp is it Because you don't like tao? Do You know that taokai is also a beautiful ship? And since you already read my other post then you should already know my explanation for why he's more obvious with Kai. It's not suspicious at all really. But I mean good luck making up your mind on SeKai. Taohun is always gonna be there so I understand it must be a constant struggle for you.

You mean to tell me that this batch of captioned gifs, by Taohun fans, on tumblr, of Sehun just joining in on the fun, are signs that he is internally jealous over his property that is Tao? ahahah oh my god. And you say I'm delusion and have no reason? What do you think these gifs really  prove, honestly? These gifs (yes GIFS, because gifs are your evidence, lmao) are being manipulated in your mind to mean what you want them to mean. To anyone else, these gifs don't tell us anything. But to Taohun shipper? Sure, whatever, I'll let you have your gifs lovergirl. I will let you have gifs captioned by Taohun fans from tumblr. That's your grand evidence of Sehun being a controlling boyfriend, and I'ma let you have that.

 

And yes, I think I did see your explanation as to why Sehun reacts differently to Kai. It was because....let me think....they're brothers? Yeah, you said they were like brothers, which really is all that needs to be said. They are indeed like brothers, and Taohun are indeed....friends....who take photos together....yep. (But I hope you realize that this 'explanation' doesn't in fact explain why he reacts more unrelenting towards Kai, at all. If Kai is his brother, the logical reaction would be less negative, seeing as he knows Kai, and he knows Kai isn't going to try and 'take Tao away from him'.)

Aaaaand the rest of my post is ignored, because you realize that you have no good, logical explanation as to why Sehun acts the most negatively towards Kai; his brother, who he has a deep history with and has said he is emotionally attached to. You coming in here, writing a thesis isn't changing any TaoHun shippers opinion of TaoHun.

 

Why don't you direct all this time, effort and energy into the SeKai thread...

I was bringing up a possible motive for Sehun treating Kai differently when it comes to Tao. Something you all were talking about only a few pages prior. Get the fuck over it. I mean if you don't want to see me here, stop quoting me.
