I look like the typical asian(what most people consider asian); asian eyes and all that, but I'm half norwegian. I consider myself asian and norwegian, and people around me do aswell, so idrc

Erm, I mainly only ever say I am eastern Asian more then western although my dad is mixed with both, and yes, people always say western asia (middle east) doesn't count lol

I say I’m Asian because that’s where Pakistan is and because in the UK when people say Asian, they’re talking about my sub-continent.

Well, I'm Pakistani (tho I was born & raised in Ireland) and I do consider myself Asian, because it's an entire continent and not a specific region of the continent.

I agree, since there are more South Asians in the UK (at least in Northern Ireland) than East Asians, so when someone says Asian here, they usually mean someone from the subcontinent.

Well, Southeast Asians are just as acknowledged as Asians as East Asians.

It’s really EA-centric. Esp when even Siberians can be considered “Asianâ€.
