Yes. Children deserve love no matter what. Just because they're not beautiful or normal doesnt mean they dont deserve love or attention. If it was me i'd do ANYTHING in the world for my child,impaired or not. It may make my life hard,but thats love for my child and im doing because i love them and they're perfect in my eyes. Dont care what the world has to say or think because we all perfect or different in some way. Sorry for the long answer,i have a soft spot for kids...def kids. Yes,people are gonna stare or point or make fun,but its a parents/society duty to teach kids that not everyone are normal.

well to begin with I don't support abortion so thats out of the question. I feel like after giving birth I'd love the baby too much to part with it so I'd keep him/her. The ONLY way I'd ever give up my child is if I am physically incapable of taking care of them and was a bad mother, other than that I'd keep my baby no matter what the obstacles or circumstances, at that point their life would be far more important than mine, or my time, or my money. I actually have a LOT more to say, or rather rant concerning this matter but I rather not start arguments at 2 am in the morning.

My grandmother has been taking care of woman with Down-Syndrome for about 30 years now (whom I call my aunt), and she is honestly the most charismatic, caring and passionate woman I've ever met. I remember growing up and having her play games with me and give me undying attention when nobody else would, get so upset when people around us mocked her and honestly I get emotional just typing about her. 

 

Many, of course not all, of the children who are impaired and get thrown to adoption are treated awfully. My aunt and her sisters were all split up into different asylums where they beat them up all the time, made fun of them, honestly just really inhumane in general. I can't even imagine how hard it is to have an impaired mindset and at the mercy of people who won't give you the care you need. 

Getting put up for adoption leaves many of them at the judgment of some bad people, and I know that while I can't give all of them what they deserve at least I might be able to give it to somebody.

I guess it depends on how impaired and how well I would be able to care for them. If they are going to require a ton of time and money that I dont have, or if they were going to lead a miserable, sick, broken life, no, I wouldnt keep them.
