Lim July 13, 2018 Kang Ji Young shared that the members of KARA have never stopped maintaining a strong friendship over the years! Since leaving KARA, Kang Ji Young has mostly focused on building an acting career in Japan. During an interview for her film “Killer, Her†(literal title) at the 22nd Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), the former KARA member revealed how the members have stayed in touch. She said, “We all still get along very well and we still share a group chatroom. It’s been a while since we last met because we’re all so busy, but we’ve consistently stayed in contact with each other.†When asked how the other members feel about Kang Ji Young making her mark as an actress in Japan, she replied, “They keep telling me how proud they are. Park Gyuri‘s nickname for me is ‘baby’ and she said, ‘Baby, you’re so amazing.’ It felt great hearing that from her.†She also shared how she meets up often with Goo Hara in Japan and added, “She’ll tell me what hotel she’s staying at and I’ll always go over there and hang out with her.†Kang Ji Young has also been active as a solo singer, holding a concert last year. She said, “It taught me just how different it is to be on your own as opposed to being with the other members. K-Net will definitely said Kara members bullying Youngji and outcast her. I think it's a pity situation for them. I really wish Kara make their reunion with 5 members. Sorry not sorry. I'm genuinely curious because I LOVE her in KARA and I've always been curious why she chose this career path (actress in Japan). She already have 6 movie in Japan and 3 of them she acted as a lead actress. She also 3/4 drama and already have one album in Japan. I think last year she make concert in Japan for her album. Basically she busy and always have job. You cab refer to my thread about Jiyoung new movie. Since I'm on phone I cannot give you link to my thread. I'm just wondering why she chose to move to Japan instead of becoming an actress in Korea. That's all. I would think it has something to do being scared after that scandal on tv.
