But the things she's done for J-Pop are incredible. She's a queen and a legend who deserves every inch of praise that comes her way. That's how I feel, at least. But her constant attempts to draw attention to herself (via controversy or other methods) and going on TV to cry about how hard she has it over the last several years was too much. Add to that she refuses to take a break from music to take care of her other ear, which isn't admirable, it's stupid. I feel sorry for her, but I can completely understand why people are fed up with her (talking about former fans, not the ones harassing her online). witchcocktor 959 Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 Nobody can deny her influence and legacy, but part of being a legendary act is to take good care of your legacy, and if you don't, people will start looking down on you and your previous success no matter how amazing you were at your peak and how far your influence reached. First of all, I gotta say I love your Namie layout. I stan her also!!! Play and Past < Future are phenomenal.... But, yeah, the ear thing is so dumb. I get that performing is what she loves to do, but if she doesn't do something, she's not going to be able to perform EVER again. It is so frustrating. Especially as fan.
