they aren't that popular compared to the others, but they've been able to hold on to their moderate popularity. they just had a comeback earlier this year, they have had a few xnine centered varieties and the webdrama oh my emperor did give then a boost in popularity and introduce more people to them.

 

so in summary their initial show wasnt as popular as NPC, but they did hold onto their moderate popularity and theyve slowly been gaining more popularity with recent projects, but definitely not at the rate npc has and their ad/variety show offers have not been as good so they still probably will gain fans much slower than npc

Ho wait, I'm confused then. I thought  the rising star chart is only for mainland artists (nongnong taiwanese) that has just debut (Cai Xukun debut years ago) in china (Mei qi debut in korea), but sunnee is taiwanese and debuted with AND years ago and she's in the chart.

Meiqi is chinese, doesn't matter where she debuted. Sunnee is of Thai citizenship, she is not taiwanese. She debuted in Taiwan if I'm not mistaken.

 

Rising means up-and-coming. Doesn't matter when they "debuted" really.

Ho yeah I meant like she debuted in Korea before, but just debuted in a different group in China recently, but since debut moment is not really considered so are they ranked by popularity increase rate by time interval? How it differ from the main chart? Is it only for lower tier idols? I thought Mei Qi after finishing first place would've been higher. So Linong is already that popular? Does the fact that Zhengting is also second in the main chart will disqualify him from the rising chart? Still not sure how it works.

Cai Xukun is literally #1 in the celebrity power list. He's way past the "rising" status at this point and it's considered the it boy in China right now, even above super popular people like Luhan.

Well Nongnong is already in the Taiwan list, so ZZT would be third. But I think this shows more fandom power than actual popularity? Like I don't think ZZT is more 'popular' or well known than FCC. I think in public recognition CXK/FCC and CLN are the ones most people know. But fandom wise it probably goes CXK -> CLN then ZZT? I'm not sure if he is more popular now or his fans work extra hard cause he's always above Justin and FCC in these lists. FCC has the smaller fandom of Yuehua3, but Justin and ZZT seem to be head to head.

I think Yanjun will eventually go to the Taiwan one (the same one CLN is in) while the other members will be on the Mainland one (I don't know how it works in YZJ's case).

Yes from what I saw, it's like u said :

- public recognition FCC (but more known as FBB brother than individually if it makes sense) > CKX > CLN

- Fandom wise CXK > CLN > ZZT > LYJ > others kinda similar

 I don't think it's just after spending one week at #1 but yea, at certain time they graduated from the Rising star to go for the Mainland China.
