As a side note: should we have a voting thread or something similar? So that others could also add suggestions (who might not be looking in this thread) as well as have more people voting on choices?

I have no idea how that end works so ;-;

Selca's aren't allowed on badges, nor fantaken pics. Only official or modeling shots. The only exceptions are on shipping pics because it's too difficult to find official sources on them. Pictures with hands on the face are generally OK if they don't alter the face shape. I'll try to help too though

I was of the pretense fan taken ones weren't, thus why I didn't bother to look for any of those and just went from official accounts. It makes sense not to allow them as well honestly.

 

On what scale would something count as a selca though? I think of all the ones above only one or two would apply as such, while the others seem to be pictures others took for her and she just posted to Twitter/Insta (outside of the Produce 48 sourced ones).

I'd have been fine with Bing Bing or Heart Attack too (even if the latter is more just on the basis of it being one of their better sounding songs to me).

If they are taken with a phone, don't even bother. We'll make a beautiful badge for her though.

There was a video that was part of a documentary where Juri talked about her responsibilities to AKB stuff and then it showed her singing and playing the drums. Can someone link me that please? (Trying to get someone onboard the Juri train)

In our dreams. It's way past the time limit for that to happen, everyone is preparing for the next produce group. And Juri's too popular and valuable in AKB for them to let her go.

The whole group was so good. Eunbi and my baby Chaewon go without saying, but the others were so charming as well. Sohee got unlucky by being in “evil†Boombayah team, so it never made the impact she should’ve; I had my eyes on her since 1 min presentations where pulled out a sword and unleashed her inner ninja. Suyhun was just an underrated performer, she was both in best Max Tension and Instruction teams.

 

If this is the group Juri debuts in, it’s perfect. I’m guessing she will either wait to debut until the IZ*One contract ends so Eunbi and Chaewon can join too, or the gg will debut before the contract ends, but Eunbi and Chaewon will be added later when they are free.

 

The best part is that she clearly loves this. She loves Kpop, she loves Korea, she loved her experience in PD48 and she still keeps contact with the friends she made there. Especially with Yena.

 

 

On your other post, I think Miyu already signed with a Korean label, she is just waiting for the best moment to announce it. I think (and fear) it will be Pledis, because she loves Kirin-chan. I hope both of them get a better treatment that what Pledis gives to their ggs.

 

Miho is like Juri that she really wants to debut in Korea too. I wonder if she is negotiating something too.

I don’t neccessarily think this gesture is altruistic, I think he is interested in creating connections in the Korea, since they have global popularity to expand his projects, and one way to do it was PD48. The other, is by helping Juri too. The same way BoA, TVXQ, SNSD, KARA etc. opened the door to Kpop in Japan. But it’s a win-win situation for the people involved, so I’m glad he helped Juri this way.

This news comes from internet detectives: Juri was seen in a Hyundai in her instastory. There is a total of circa 15,000 Hyundai in total in Japan, most of them made before 2009, which is when they were pulled out of the market for failing to attract public interest there. That means there are far better chances that she is in Korea right now. Sae and Erii have been seen there too.
