Isn’t the quirky, cute, fun side of K-pop what sets it apart from other genres?

We still have quirky concepts sometimes.. but not like they used to be.

I want that Orange Caramel type quirky back, I want all matching outfits back just in different colors, I want that. That's what made me fall in love with kpop years ago.

Of course I love the concepts now but it's like they're all afraid to try to be crazy again. For me, I really loved that.

well these concepts are done by females mostly. So men and women hate that it creates a weak image for women. idk if i got my point across without being messy.

nah you make sense

it’s just a mere concept for entertainment though

I get people have preferences tho but some like to take their anger out on these concepts even though they’re just fun lol

Cute isn't the same as quirky.

Quirky might have some cute elements in it, but it's a more weird, out of the norm, etc. kind of thing.

Gee, Oh!, TT, Knock Knock, Tell Me, etc. are all just cute songs.

Dumb Dumb, Rookie, Signal, Bar Bar Bar, Boom Boom, etc. are more quirky.
