Be My Baby: Girls are still a little awkward and stiff with dancing but it is to be expected since they have had no experience prior.

• Rio was the standout to me. She screams star potential and has excellent stage presence. Shame that she messed up.
• Momoka has potential. A little awkward and limited on her expressions but I think she could do well with more training.
• Suzu reminds me of Jeongyeon. She looks like she's having fun on stage but her dancing looks very rigid as she always looks like she's uncomfortably tucking her head in and lifting her shoulder up too much. 
• Sadly I don't think Hina and Mei have a chance. Hina doesn't stand out and Mei just looks uncomfortable all time and doesn't looks like she's having fun on stage. She just can't hide the nerves which is a shame.

Again & Again: This was not the right song for them. Honestly I couldn't vibe with the whole performance.

Dalla Dalla: The Yuna/Ririka combo for the chorus is horrendous.

• Ririka is another one that just screens of star potential and good stage presence. She knows how to naturally draw attention to herself.
• Somi 2.0 Nina has a nice voice
• Yuna's expressions do not seem natural and come off as really forced.
• Mayuka underdog went from 0 to 3 just like that.

Only 2/4 (Miihi, Rio, Miu, Ririka) of my faves made it... I have a soft spot for Riria and Akari as well. 

That Dalla Dalla performance saved Mayuka. A true underdog story.

Now this is more like it. The production value has gone up and we are finally getting Sixteen season 2.

The episode seems far too short. It's nice that they're giving each girl airtime to show their training backstory but at this rate we're going to be watching the first mission for 3 episode straight. 

So far Miihi > Rio > Akari

Rio: Everyone be pointing out that glow up but she was already pretty af in the Be My Baby performance. Her skills are still rough around the edges and her singing was definitely unstable but she knows how to work the stage. I would say that she would be a better pick than Ayaka to fill the visual spot.

Akari: This just wasn't her day. I think she has potential to be a decent singer and a potential good addition to the group. But her dancing and facial expressions were also all over the place in the performance. She seems to lack confidence and her nerves definitely showed.

Miihi: She will undoubtedly be the Nayeon of the group. She already gives off the same vibes. Given that she has had formal training, it is to no ones surprise that her performance would be a lot more polished than the others.

Miihi > Riku > Maya > Ayaka > Yuna > Rio > Nina > Akari

Ayaka: This is the first time she impressed me. Before it just seemed like they picked her purely because of her semblance to Suzy and her skills were very lacking. But her expressions were on point and she picked a song which was within her capabilities. I think she even lowered the pitch to match her range or am I just hearing things? I think she is shaping up to be one of my favourites

Nina: Can't pinpoint exactly what it is but I wasn't feeling this one.

Riku: Was never a standout contestant to me but she has a nice balance across her skills, kind of like Chaeyoung to me. She's not a critical member for the group but also not a detriment. 

Yuna: As the longest JYP trainee on the show, her skills don't seem to be as rounded as the other trainees if you were to compare them relative to their training periods. Her performance had a strong start but her vocal skills couldn't keep up and she started to falter but I think she managed to pick it back up with the rap. The coming episodes will be important to determine if she gets Minyoung-ed or not

Maya: Good performance. I feel the same way for her as I feel for Riku.

Mako > Miihi > Riku > Maya > Rima > Mayuka > Ayaka > Yuna > Rio > Nina > Riria > Akari > Momoka

Mayuka: Truly living up to her underdog status. I can't believe I never noticed her before. I actually enjoyed her performance the most. 
Momoka: There was no spark in her performance. I found her pretty awkward.
Riria: Another underwhelming performance. The dancing was awkward.
Rima: Her strength is definitely her confidence. A lot of the other girls don't have it but it seems to come so naturally to her. I find her dancing a bit awkward and the english raps always make me cringe.
Mako: She is #1 for a reason. She even picked the perfect song to match her short hair.

I think my favourites for now are Mayuka, Rio, Ayaka, Miihi and Mako.

DTNA: Akari was freaking glowing in this performance. Is it because she resembles Jihyo and DTNA is practically her song? Mayuka gives me Mina vibes. I liked this performance more than VVV and I think they all did well. Riria's energy was a bit low compared to the other girls though. Personally I think it was Akari > Nina = Mayuka > Riria.

VVV: Miihi is often the standout but I thought Rima overshadowed her this time and practically carried the performance. Ayaka's singing was bearable until Sohye's bridge part. My god was that bad. I wonder if JYP was trying to make another Nayeon-Jeongyeon-Tzuyu when he formed this team. Rima > Miihi > Ayaka

Swing Baby: Right from the lineup, this team was pretty much guaranteed the win. 

Heart Shaker: I've got to agree with JYP on this one. I had difficulty focusing on this performance because it just seemed so incoherent. I never saw star potential in Yuna in season 1 and definitely thought she was overranked but this time round I actually see her potential. I think she is a good candidate for the groups rapper but she doesn't seem to be playing to that strength. 

Overall I think the 2 teams last week were better. 

I'm changing my favourites every week but Rio and Mayuka are lock ins for me. But they're both on the fence of making the lineup especially Mayuka.

I think the show has made it pretty obvious who the candidates are right now:

• Guaranteed spot: JYP trio Mako, Miihi, Rima
• Practically already have a foot in: Riku, Maya
• Good chance: Nina, Ayaka, Akari (I'm on the fence about including her in this category but JYP seems to favour her)
• Maybe: Rio, Riria, Mayuka, Yuna?
• Don't think so: Momoka

Miihi sounded super breathy(?) in Feel Special. I think the song was way out of her range. Can't believe the day has come where Miihi gets outshined by the rest of the girls. Akari was absolutely glowing this time round too. And this was most definitely Yuna's best peformance. She went off with the dancing at the end.

Nina's tone fit Icy to the T. Well the singing parts at least.

I agree with JYP on the team rankings. Feel Special and Icy were neck and neck though.

In regards to my favourites:
Mayuka is my absolute favourite. As long as she makes it in, I will be happy with the lineup. Both her dark horse moments occurred right at the end of both seasons which makes me question if it's too late. But who knows it might work in her favour since it will be fresh on JYP's mind.

Yuna has really grown on me and I think it would be good for her confidence to make it into the final team. I don't think it would sit well with her to have to go back to being a trainee and I question if she would want to continue for a shot in the next Korean girl group since her spot wouldn't be guaranteed. But at the same time I do think that she might not fit in with the group and her talents kind of fall short.

Not one bit surprised with the lineup. I'm just super glad Mayuka made it. But the group name on the other hand... Nizi would've been cute but they just had to sprinkle some classic kpop in it and throw in an extra letter to make a pun.

I wonder what's going to happen to Yuna. I feel like she would've taken the elimination the hardest. Her expression when they were announcing the final member was just heartbreaking.
