-SM has no other choices besides pushing Mark and Taeyong..

i feel like they always planned to push taeyong super hard.

 

but after the great reaction mark got for his rapping they decided to super push mark. i think they would of put taeyon in every sub unit too if it wasent for the past scandal.

 

He's already in all the units he can be, he's not in dream because he's not a minor

The sub-units idea would have been better if the members within that unit were fixed imo. The number of members is not an issue but by arbitrarily adding members, it shows a lack of long term planning for the sub-units’ concept, image and direction.

I feel like some members shy away from the `push' that SM gave them

You can see people like Jisung and WinWin are awkward getting too much attention. SM tried to push WinWin and he got a lot of support but he tend to kind of shy away and now SM is changing their focus on Lucas

Little shows in comparison are nothing when they said no to one of the biggest Chinese shows to the most popular member on china

And how do u even know that he doesnt want that work went he barely get lines or any center attention,and its visibly upset about it on vlives

Since they have many members( more than 18 because they're gonna add more next year), SM should make the center position rotational, so that everyone gets spotlight and chance to shine. It'd be more fair that way to give exposure to every member. Get them to take turns for center. Making Taeyong as the permanent center is just further pushing the "Taeyong and friends" narrative.

At this point I won't be surprised anymore if SM decides to debut Mark in NCT China87SEoao.png

Add Taeyong as well. I was really surprised to see the amount of screentime both of them got in Black on Black while half of them got none. Not hating though but they need to push the others as well.
