What boy groups should have done to bond members to each other? AKA the secret for group longevity

Let's pour cold water( using bucket is recommended) on a member when he is in deep sleep. Change it to several members. Lesson learned: do not let your guard down when you are in waiting room territory or even at your dorm.

Let's eat a lot and play kai bai bo and get that member who lost to pay bills for 10 members and entire staff. say " it doesn't matter' when that unlucky member said' I just came, I have not eaten anything yet'. The bill is $3,000.

Let's get all members to play a football game. Pass the ball that member who always avoids it (i.e. hug himself automatically when any ball is in sight) and then scold/laugh at his face for days/weeks/years.

And lastly, say that your group is going to disband after 2 years of debuting. just to test people's real feeling.

I think for exo’s case, they’ve only debut for 2 years? Or is it 3? Either way, they’re still new. And I know 2 years is a lot and they’re not rookies and have definitely spent longer amounts of time together if you count their trainee days. But if they’ve been around for let’s say 4 years, they definitely would have gone through much more things and thus be much more bonded. Also, there are a lot of members, thus you have a choice of who you want to get close with, thus forming cliques and what not. If there’s lesser people in the group, they usually count on one another a lot (not proven, just saying that since there’s a lot of members, chances of only sticking or befriending the ones they’re comfortable with is high). Either way, this incident will definitely make the other 11 members much more bonded. Hopefully Suho talks to them after everything is settled down, to make things clear to the rest of the members that they should count on one another and consult one another if there is any issues/problems. I feel like they need a lot of time to talk and settle their thoughts on this.

Follow SHINHWA's example. They fought alot they even amitted that they had physical fights with each other but the thing they kept them together untill now is because of good communication, understanding and trust. If they had any problem, they'd settle it down right at that moment without dragging it out for a long time.

Go watch SHIHWA's appearance on Win Win . Their episode was so touching and it made me tear up. The members went through alot together and they're very loyal towards each other. I've never seen a bond so amazing as theirs. I applaud Eric for keeping the members together untill now. It must've not been easy at all for him.

Shinhwa, Shinee??

Communication already has been said, but its also important not to ignore signals of a member (situations, body). Not everyone can speak free, so the members should take time for each other and try to solve the Problems, expecially when the problem it SM and stand up for each other.

Didn't Heechul say that they can't fight with each other, because their mothers are really close? XD When your mother tells you to make up, you have to make up with each other.. He also said they fight all the time..but resolve it fast, and that he is happy to have members to fight with. Basically a family.

Yes, SJ now definitely able to leave SM if it really wants to do so ( with $iWon's help or not). Members say if one stays, everyone will stay and vice versa. Everyone has his own solo activities but at the end of the day, Super Junior is still the ultimate priority.

Kibum is a special case though, I do think there is something going on between SM and him. Both sides seemed to reach a deal. He is not officially taken out of SJ and still stay in SM and still follow his ideal job which is acting, not being an idol.

I do think his case is an example of negotiation between SM and artiste is possible, just don't burn the bridge so fast.

But Shinee are still fine and they've said multiple times that they're not that close and only have a business relationship. I think bond has little to do with this and more future goals and their career path.

Hangeng was close to members like Heechul and DB5K seemed pretty close too imo.

Suju members are all close. Even if they fight, they eventually make up. For example, that one time when they fought before Music bank when they were promoting Mr. Simple and they worried ELF half to death, only for it to turn out that it was all because a small prank lol:

I think there are two ways. Either you have a great bond of friendship like Suju, or you have a good business relationship like Shinee. I'm sure Shinee are still very friendly with each other and like each other, but they know what they want out of their relationship and what they want for their careers and are able to work things out that way.
