Sure they can still be a friend, not everyone is perfect.

 

But on the topic of bullying more people should speak up in general, period.

the question is

 

are they capable of protecting me?

 

if they can't do shit then I'd prefer then not to involve in it at the first place

some of my friends doesn't even have the minimum amount of confidence to be themselves even with me when I'm supposed to be their best friend, how can they have the courage to protect me? I wouldn't say this is all connected

I have a friend who can't be confrontational to save her life but she drove 2 hours (in traffic) to pick me up at the airport last minutes
