Article: [Exclusive] G-Dragon confirmed to be staying in a 'private colonel room'... hospitalized for 30 days out of 2 months of service

Source: Dispatch via Naver

1. [+4,421, -172] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Can't refute facts~!

2. [+2,526, -87] I'm more shocked that he's been in the hospital for 33 days during his 2 months ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ is this a joke?

3. [+1,695, -43] I'm not a GD fan or anti but speaking neutrally, how is staying for 30 days in a hospital during 2 months of service not special treatment? Over an ankle?

4. [+1,322, -62] ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ The military lied with YG. It was a colonel room but they claimed it was a small one person room ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

5. [+799, -106] Stupid fangirls are bleeding to shield this ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. [+440, -9] He's so weak, physically and mentally ã…‹ and yet he acts like such a tough guy in his songs ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

7. [+346, -8] Colonel's room or admiral's room, I don't care, anyone who's served in the army already knows deep down in their bones how big of a special treatment GD is getting right now. Stupid fangirls need to keep their mouths shut.

8. [+297, -6] Shouldn't all soldiers be treated equally? Especially after all the recent articles about soldiers being mistreated? Like one who had a head hemorrhage but was given pain killers and is now a vegetable? I don't know how 'special' GD is but... this is unfair for this to be happening in the army. The minute anyone puts on an army uniform, they are the same as any other soldier. Please treat everyone equally... it's such a loss of morale for the other soldiers. They are all men who are serving their countries!!

9. [+269, -4] My dongsaeng had tuberculosis and he was hospitalized in an 8 person hospital room and discharged after a week... He was never given any further treatment or medication. Afte rhis service, he was later hospitalized in his private room and given 8 months of medication... and his doctor was surprised at how he was treated in the army. The army does not treat everyone like equal humans... why would any of us want to send our men there??

10. [+231, -24] Invasion of privacy or not, taking a medical leave for 33 days out of your 2 months of service is practically violation of army laws. Even the unit commander's son wouldn't be given such preferential treatment ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ And now that we have proof that he was indeed given the colonel's room, it's proof enough that he was given special treatment ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ poor stupid fangirls fighting their tears to shield him... this is why women need to serve in the army too.

11. [+202, -2] If he's been in the hospital for 30 days out of 2 months... did he leave to serve in the army or be hospitalized?

12. [+176, -4] Don't call this an enlistment, call this a hospitalization

13. [+155, -4] 33 days out of 2 months~~~ that's treatment you would given the president's son

14. [+141, -6] Is it impossible for men to serve cleanly like Lee Seung Gi or Ok Taecyeon?

15. [+108, -10] Dispatch destroying them with facts ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ and stupid fangirls rushing in ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

16. [+95, -2] So he didn't go to serve, he went to go catch up on the sleep he's mnissed ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

So what is the truth????

EDIT: I'm still in school so don't take my word on anything I'm about to say - but no where have I seen what is wrong with his ankle so I have no idea what it could be - but if he had surgery (or even a really bad sprain) on his ankle it could take up to weeks and weeks for him to recover which would explain the 33 days. My biggest question is if these days were consecutive or if he was in and out. Also if he's getting a hospital room not normally meant for regular soldiers I understand how it would rub some Korean netizens the wrong way - even if he's being spied on.

Dispatch is actually retorting the Military as well as the Ministry of Defense statements, first and foremost. But they will mention YG instead because they're scared of the other two lol

What proof? Dispatch fanfictions? This is similar to what happened yesterday and folks eating up Dispatch words just so they can hate on GD. Pathetic if you ask me.

If he had surgery its not surprising that he's been in there for 30 days- apparently people's brain cells die when they become too hungry to grasp onto any straws to hate.

Its funny how much people can bark at the 'smaller guy' and blame him (them) for all the shitty treatment normal people get, yet when its time to stand up to the 'bigger guy' to actually be able to achiever FAIRER treatment, people go numb.

Says a lot.

Shouldn't then all of you be mad at the army for being such a hell instead of at him ?

Military just bitchslapped Dispatch for a 2nd time.

And the commenters are more favorable to GD here. Let's see if useless Netizen Buzz translates it. http://m.entertain.naver.com/ranking/read?oid=076&aid=0003276293&rankingType=default&rankingDate=20180626

This was fast. I feel so bad for GD. Can YG get to work and sue Dispatch now? Cuz they are getting more disgusting by the day. Yikes.

Honestly something's weird with this whole thing. How is a government department basically letting what is essentially the Korean version of TMZ attack them openly like this? If they're telling lies then sue them and end this already. Otherwise this back and forth will never stop.

Is it true that GD's case violated of Korean Laws?
