Brief context of the story:

 

Michelle Parenteau, 17y.o. american girl who's been suffering from cancer since 2015 met Exo at the Lotte Family Concert. She said Exo's music helped her a lot throughout her battle.

 

Michelle's story was delivered to SM Entertainment in March through the Make-A-Wish Korea branch, which makes wishes for children with intractable diseases. Meetings were held in the waiting room of Exo ahead of the performance at Lotte concert.

 

Michelle greeted the members & conveyed her gratitude which she have always wanted to do.

 

Michelle said, "I was able to overcome a difficult operation through Exo. I am very happy to convey my gratitude today."

i can relate. SJ released their last album in the middle of my chemotherapy and it really helped cheer me up and take my mind off some pain and the perpetual nausea. i even re-stanned after i un-stanned because of how much they helped me emotionally through those dark times.
