i turned 17 about five months ago, so 18 is very much ominous and looming. on the bright side i get to go on a retreat and a senior trip so i suppose that's better than a dance.

you lucky duck. dances are fun if you find the right people go to with, (I usually go stag because boys don't ask me to dances). my parents don't want me to go on a senior trip lol, probably will still go anyways

you know what it's okay we'll be twins then. in all my years at school not once have i been asked to a dance. and that's okay. i don't have time for immature boys anyways, i got bigger things planned you feel?

If you're applying to college, it's going to be a painful few months, so I recommend keeping a calendar/to-do list of what you need to submit and when. This will help you keep track of what you need to do and the deadline for each of them and will make your life less stressful.

Somehow because it's the last year, students start slacking off. Be very careful about senioritis because your grades still matter, especially if you're applying to college.

It's also the last year to participate in any social activities if you haven't been doing that already. As stressful as senior year will be, do try to make some good memories before you head off to applying for jobs or college.
