The first episode of TBS' new drama Cheer☆Dance starring Tao Tsuchiya aired it's first episode last June 13. Ratings clocked in at 23%. Suzu makes a cameo as their senpai joined by rising actress Yuko Araki (plot twist)

mte it's confusing. they brought out suzu from what seemed like an unrelated remake... and where the heck did yuko's character come from

They have 2 parts. The one with Yuko and Suzu, a flashback before the actual drama with all the dancers.

The Director decided to divide the drama since their initial objective was to do a completely different drama but there were concerns that it might flop if they only copy paste Let's go, Jets. Everything counts as a whole because the premiere episode with Suzu and Yuko is the start. It's just like Hana Kimi

no offense but nothing will beat let's go jets. suzu and ayami were the best duo and i don't see that happening in this remake. tao doesn't have that cheerleader vibe at all.

the first news of this is that its the drama version of lets go jets and tao's character is supposed to be suzu's character, hikari but then the director got suzu like that doesn't even make sense. and i dont get why there are 2 different groups with tao and they cut out yui sakuma in the other group

I agree with Tao. Yuko would've made a better cheerleader than her. She looks too old for this
