Now we all know TWICESUS isn't just a kpop group, but are true ARTISTS.

 

Originally a try-hard cutesy group, they pivoted to even more pretentious artsy aesthetics and a great variety of sound while their rappers retained the better side of hip-hop culture - quality flows, party rhymes&catchy hooks, and also actually writing your own verses.

 

And pivoted very much successfully - thank you Park Jin Young for your hella impressive artistic vision.

Thank you JYP again for their at first kinda imposed oversweetness(the whole girl next door schtick). Because of their persistence and consistency with broaching serious topics, and their not-rushed story-telling through MVs and albums, they can now touch on loads of serious subjects and not come of as repulsively disingenuous.
