I'm not too sure about the globalization by localization strategy since it's important to be big globally for social media awareness, i guess it should be fine with the brand support. One year and a half is short to create a group, i wonder if they have already a batch of trainees ready. Is there the whole presentation somewhere? lllll 4,309 Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 I mean that's what they were trying to do already 5 years ago before merging they had also the idea to make a japanese boy group in the past but gave up on the idea maybe too Before miss a they were thinking also a chinese girl group they thought it was probably too soon 2 years ago they made an exclusive distribution deal with a Chinese company (later acquired by tencent) which included crating a joint-venture (i actually think JYPE has only a minority) to develop original content (so far Boystory and the older Boygroup with Yao chen / Yang Yang) JYPE has always focused on the international since Rain to today Btw where is the full video of the event?
