Are you this obsessed when having a crush?

I look Everyday on his Social media and look at his pictures for the thousand times. He is in my head the whole time and the interactions we had with each other keeps repeating in my head. But then im soo Awkward when being face to face again and shy as fuck. I try to avoid him and if i see him standing somewhere where i need to walk pass i take a different route. This Will go on for Maybe a couple of months, the longest is probably for a year and then I move on because nothing happens and the feeling Will eventually fade away.

before dating my first long distance boyfriend i was like that. i would check his social media at all times, look at the pictures on his profile, even save some of them & think about him all day. i'd even read our conversations over and over again waiting for him to comeback. but i've stopped doing that, i dont know. after some time when i got another boyfriend i just didnt feel like doing that anymore, i stopped getting obsessed over the people i have a crush on

Yes to an extent, maybe not checking his social media 1000 times but frequently. I also have a habit of getting irrationally attached to crushes from the smallest of meetings.

The worst part of it is knowing in the back of your head nothing will happen and further down the line you'll be over and find someone new. My situation might be slightly different from yours though.

no, never. i was shook even when my friends in 6th grade digged up on their older crushes back in school. like they'd see a guy and be all like "ohh my god he's so good looking!" two days later they knew his full name, class, all social media and his friends. i always found that creepy af.

The last time i did that, its high school, i dig up her social media, got really shy and looks stupid also weary around her, tried to sneak a look at her in class or outside, its weird idk lol, but after that i dont really care that much even though i might like them, also dont want to think about the feelings too much..
